A raku bottle. Wheel thrown and altered. The white is clear crackle glaze over white clay; the black is carbon absorbed while in flaming sawdust bed (and under a can preventing air from entering) after the bottle was taken from the kiln, glowing deep orange. The vessel was then plunged into water to fix the crackles in place. This vessel is not watertight. 8” x 7” x 4.5”.
