Gas-fired porcelain jar with shino glaze. Lightly bubbly in places; variable-colored surface in golden brown, gray and light orange. Interior is tenmoku brown inside the jar and pale celadon in the lid. This lid has superficial crack lines going around the lid drop-in portion where you can’t see it, not affecting use at all (see photo), and sturdy. 6.25” x 5” x 4”.
